After a day on the ARTrails, enjoy a pleasant, scenic, and relaxing journey back in time and take a ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad. Gaze at the scenery as the nine-mile, former Milwaukee Road track winds through the scenic upper Chehalis River valley, crossing over several wooden trestles and passing many historic farms. Relax in the open car behind the mesmerizing sounds of a 1916-vintage steam locomotive. Sit down to a white-tablecloth, old-fashioned dining car experience. Step back to another age.

Centralia Fox Theatre
September 17 and 18 September 24 and 25 119 South Tower Avenue, Centralia WA
The Fox Theatere has been a fixture in downtown Centralia since it opened in 1930. The Fox showcased first-run film, Fox Movietone newsreels and the best known vaudeville performers of the day. It was billed as "the finest playhouse between Portland and Seattle." The Fox Theatre is being renovated to its original grandeur and is currently showing vintage movies, live stage and theater events and has been the home of local talent showcases, sing-alongs, and community events.

Wellness Round-Up (including an ARTrails and Lily Foundation art exhibit)
Saturday, September 17 1900 Cooks Hill Road Centralia WA
Get a fast start on your ARTrails weekend - the 2011 Wellness Round-Up will start at 8:00 am with the Cooks Hill Challenge (10 Mile Run and 5k Fun Run/Walk) in front of Washington Orthopedic Center on Cooks Hill Road in Centralia. Registration begins at 7:00 am, the 10 Mile Run starts at 8:00 am, and the 5K Fun Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am.
The 2011 Providence Centralia Hospital Wellness Roundup with be held as a joint venture at Washington Orthopedic Center, Lewis County Cancer Center, Providence Imaging Center and includes more than 100 community health partners in a addition to the Lily Foundation Art Exhibit and an ARTrails Mini-Gallery.
Lewis County Museum

The Lewis County Historical Museum is housed in the historic, 1912 turn of the century Northern Pacific Railway Depot. Operated by the Lewis County Historical Society, it is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of Lewis County, Washington and will be hosting a mini gallery of ARTrails art during the Open Studio Tour. Fourth Annual Chehalis Valley Fall Wine Tour

As you are exploring the back roads of Lewis County for the ARTrails Open Studio Tour be sure to include the Chehalis Valley wineries Fourth Annual Fall Wine Tasting and Tour. In addition to the 27 studios and 60-some artists of ARTrails, there are six boutique wineries where you will find a large variety of wine, from the basic merlot and chardonnay to special blends, fruit and dessert wines. Start at the winery of your choice and purchase your "Passport" and commemorative wine glass, free wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres for everyone to enjoy.
